Assignment # 1 "All About me!"

I'm a little late . . . but better then never. It has been a crazy week here. Please keep my Husband in your prayers along with his mothers family. His Uncle has Alzheimer's and has been given only a few days left to live. My husband traveled yesterday to NC, he will be spending the weekend with him, his mother and his cousin.
On with it . . . "All About Me":

About Me: I am an only child and I am afraid that it says enough. After high school I went off to college to become a Fashion Designer. Nothing ever happen there. I love music to be playing in my home at all times. My favorite color is purple and I would die with out raspberries and chocolate.
Tom and I have been married for 10 years, it will be 11 in October. He is the love of my life, my best friend and be pulls the best out of me. For the past 4 years he has been working for our local Barnes and Noble. This has been the best job. He enjoys it and plus it’s a home school mom’s dream. It feeds our love for reading. We enjoy hanging out around the house together. I can say that I am more of the social one and he is content being just the family.
One thing we are trying to do right now is eat better. I am trying to cook more healthy dishes and buying more organic food. I am OCD when it comes to schedules and I try to plan everything out. I am a control FREAK!
We have three children:
Reece (20, from Tom's first marriage): He lived with us when we first got married, move in with his mom when he started HS. He came back to live with us last fall. We love having him here with us.
Scottlyn (9): She is my pleaser, she holds herself to high standers and is a loving young lady. Her favorite things to do are: ballet, tap, jazz, piano, reading, chorus and American Girl Dolls. She also is a dog lover.
Shalyn (6): Strong at heart and determined to do it herself. She is the "BABY". Her favorite things to do is anything her sister dose. She also likes to try to catch birds, fish and little bugs. She dose ballet, tap, jazz and started the piano this summer. She is also learning to love to read.
Why we Home School:
I first heard about home schooling when I was single in church. I knew it was an option. After I got married and heard Reece wine about his father never being home on the weekends when he was out of school. Tom and I started to look more into it, for at that time it was just Scottlyn. Our church had a BIG group of homeschooling families and we keep running in them every wear we turned. We started 6 years ago and have ever question our decision. Lord willing be will finish this season when both girls have completed the 12th grade.
Thanks for reading . . :)!

Blessings,

Trina,
Thanks for dropping by my blog. I had fun reading yours--only to realize that THERE'S SOMEBODY ELSE in this world who's a planner to OCD degrees, and we have the same name! :D I am looking forward to reading your future posts.

We have made the switch to organic foods within the last year. WOW...We all feel better. I could go on, but I won't :)

We like to keep praise music in our home at all times as well.
