THE SIMPLE WOMAN'S DAYBOOK

FOR TODAY ... September 28, 2009...

Outside my window...
We still have Humming Birds and they are feeding.

I am thinking...
How blessed I am . . . last week I went for my nine month check up for Cancer. The oncologist said everything looks good and should get test results back this week.

I am thankful for...
My husband, he makes me a better person.

From the learning rooms...
We are a day behind in The Mystery of History need to get caught up this week. I am LOVING our HIStory this year . . .

From the kitchen...
Roast in the crock pot for dinner tonight and then going to make beef soup for lunches latter in the week.

I am wearing...
A gray long sleeve cotton John Dear shirt, black Nike shorts and fuzzy grip socks. Hair pulled back in a messy bun.

I am creating...
The list of who we need to buy Christmas gifts for this year, A list of special things I would like to do with the girls around Christmas and what cookies we will be baking.

I am going...
To finish out this week on the diet I have been on. I have lost 27 lbs. so far. I want to get off another two this week if I can. A few plans for the rest of the week: I miss my last weeks Wednesday afternoon ladies bible study, it will be good to get back to it this week. Also I need to go get fabric for the girls poodle skirts that we need to get started making.

I am reading...
My Bible and Dee Brestin: A Woman of Confidence bible study

I am hoping...
Relaxing week of school and with the sunny weather . . . I want to get the girls Fall pictures taken.

I am hearing...
Pandora: David Nevue station

Around the house...
Need to iron some laundry I did Sunday and file away the stack of Sunday's Coupons

One of my favorite things...
Listening to my daughter play the piano. She blows me away at her ability to use the gift that God has given her.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...
This past Friday night we went out to the GA Aquarium / World of Coke for a work/date night.
Here is a picture our daughter took before we left that afternoon.

Thanks for your comment, Trina! I just do my own Bible study on various topics. I am about to begin a study with our church ladies called "Key Truths for Women" by Martha Tyler, published by Regular Baptist Press.
Have a good week!

I enjoyed stopping by for a visit! Glad your dr check went well! I love hummingbirds! I am so sad that they don't live where we live now, I love to watch them when we go to visit my parents!
