Today is the day . . . It's time to kick off Fall Into Reading 2008 with Katrina at Callapidder Days. Here is a list of books that I have on my nightstand, along with a list of what I will be reading aloud to my girls. I will add more books next week when my Hubby gets home from his managers conference. He works for Barnes & Noble! (A homeschool mom's blessing) He always returns home with some WONDERFUL books.
For ME:
- I Kissed Dating Goodbye by Joshua Harris I would like to read this before my girls even start thinking about boys.
- Your Girl : Raising a Godly Daughter in an Ungodly World by Vicki Courtney: This is a re-read for me. LOVE this Book!
For the Girls & I:
- Daughters of Destiny by Noelle Wheeler
For our Re~aloud:
- The Great Wheel by Robert Lawson
“Reading aloud with children is known to be the single most important activity for building the knowledge and skills they will eventually require for learning to read.”
- Marilyn Jager Adams
I look forward to seeing what everyone else is reading.
Happy reading . . .
In HIS Mighty Love,
Trina
