Homeschool Memoirs #8: Study Spot

THEME:
This week share your favourite spot to study with your kids. There are many places you can sit down to teach, learn, and work, but where do you prefer and why? You’re welcome to include a photo of your study spot! Looking forward to seeing everyone’s! Visit this week's memoir
here!

Here is where we do school . . . it has turned into more of a library/study room then a school room. It was crazy, when we first started out it looked so much like a school room. Bright color walls, ABC's across one wall, blend ladders on a another and also we had to have the paint on chalk board. We loved it at first. But as we grew and became more comfortable in our learning style we now look like the above picture. Oh we still have a monthly calendar on our wall, along with several maps and we just added a wonderful timeline map this year. It cozy and it is so us!

This is my space ;) . . . I just love it. The desk was my grandfathers and thou now it is painted white, I have used it ever sense high school. My lap top goes where ever I go. I check all my emails off of it and run Edu-Track from it. The BIG screen computer is the girls. My in-laws blessed them (and me) with it last Christmas. Though I must admit I use it more then they do. It is where I write all my blog post from. We mostly use it in school to watch united steaming videos from. The girls also use it to play webkins and other educational games from. Scottlyn will be doing her first research paper later this year and I am sure she will get a lot of use out of it then.

As always I enjoyed this assignment and thank you for your comments. They are always so encouraging to read. I pray that you have a blessed week. {{{HUGS}}}

Trina

Hey, we have the exact same schoolroom table! That used to be our dining room table, but we wanted to move up to a larger one.

I love your school room. Is your family like us? Our classroom is the most used room in our home.

Oh, now that's cool! We might still use our schoolroom if it looked like that. ;-)

Btw, loved your "going green" comment on my blog. It made me laugh.
