Scottlyn's piano concert . . .

Just wanted to share Scottlyn playing at the mall this past Saturday . . . hope you enjoy it.

Have a bless day!!

Another great CHRISTmas gift

I came across this and thought I would share . . . Sugar Body Scrubs!!!

Would this not be a great gift for your daughter to give to her friends (even her Teacher or Sunday School Teacher)this CHRISTMAS!?! Oh, you could even give it to your girlfriends. . . it looks SUPER EASY, plus very inexpensive.

They even have a link to ready made tags.

Have a blessed day,

Christmas Gifts from the Kitchen

Here is an idea that has been tossing around in my head that I wanted to share with you.

Every CHRISTmas the girls and I bake cookies for my husband to take to his work. We make little cookie bags, filled with a dozen for each one of his employees. Along with a sample tray to go onto the break room table. We do one main cookie and then on the sample tray we put that cookie along with cheese straws & fudge. This year I am thinking about making mini bunt cakes instead of cookies. Doing 3 min cakes per bag/box. Then for the tray do mini cupcake's of the same three mini bunt cakes, along with the cheese straws and fudge. So here are the the recipes we are leaning towards:

I should also add that we make enough for the mail women, piano teacher, and a few of our neighbors. So tell me what you will be baking this coming CHRISTmas, or if you have a recipe: PLEASE share.

Blessings,

All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children. Isaiah 54:13

Our Valentine Party on Tuesday: The kids had so much fun. The Mom's had a wonderful time with some much needed conversation and laughter. Great Home School Therapy!!

Show n Tell Friday

The Sunday evening before CHRISTmas my Uncle, Aunt, my cousin Sharon and her family came over. Here is some pictures of our evening.

My mama & Aunt Pasty.

My cousin Sharon & me. She is more like a BIG sister to me then a cousin.

All of our children: Scottlyn, Jessica, Kyle, Reece, Shalyn & Samantha.

Uncle Ron, Reece, Kyle, my dad & Rick

(my dear husband had to work this night and was greatly missed).

My Aunt Pat, Sharon, myself and my mama.

We all had a wonderful time. The kids baked cookies ( I will post these soon), we played cards and had a festive game of spoons. It was such a blessing . . . this is what family is all about.

Happy Thanksgiving

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving and share some pictures from our day!

Breakfast was pigs-n-blanket, cinnamon muffins, beacon pinwheels and orange juice.

Our table filled with our Thanksgiving Dinner.

Dessert: Peanut Butter cake (Turkey make out of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups).

Reece, Shalyn & Scottlyn.

It's been a wonderful day! Tom & Reece just headed out to see if anyone is in line yet at the stores they want to buy things from.

The girls and I are getting ready to watch our favorite Thanksgiving Day Movie "Holiday Inn".

Happy Thanksgiving (Sunday)

This past Sunday we got together at my sister in-laws home with her family, my parents and my in-laws. We had a blast! She live on a old pecan orchard so after we all eat a fabulous lunch we went out to pick up pecans. Her are a few pictures I took of the cousins.
