The girls and I have been so blessed to be apart of a local "Meet & Share" group for the past six months. Looking back on the past five years I have been homeschooling, this has been on of the BEST things we have ever been apart of. It is made up of 5 family's (soon to be six), we meet monthly ans take turns hosting. The children age range is from 13 - 2. Each child shares one to 3 things that they have completed in school. Most of the children play the piano or violin as well and will share a music piece they have learned. We just meet on Wednesday and the girls recited the "Gettysburg Address" together with their Abe Lincoln hats they had made.
I must be honest with you and let you know that the mothers have just as much fun as the children. You could say it is a form of mental therapy!
As you can see here are some of the girls playing dress up and been oh so silly!
Thanks for taking the time to visit us, I pray that you have a blessed weekend. To read more Show and Tell please visit Mary @ Raising 4 godly men .

I love that idea. I am thinking about starting a small co-op for special needs homeschooled kids in our area. I may just have to borrow that idea.
Blessings,
Dawn
Trina: That sounds like a wonderful and fun group. My kids would love something like that. I love that it is a small, intimate group too.
~Have a wonderful week-end!
Oh, yeah! That is so cool! And yep. The moms have just as much fun as the kids. :-)
Great show and tell. You are creative. How fun - love the photos.'

A wonderful idea!
TRINA!! Oh my goshness!!! :-)
Okay, okay, in trying to stay paranoid, er, protect identity, you and I just became friends on facebook and I live practically down the street from you! Know who I am? :-)
It is so strange to be "seeing" you in this fairly-new-to-me blogging world!! WOW! I found your blog through your FB. All because you cared for my GreenPatch! Ha!
I can't believe how big the girls are! WOW! You will never believe the boys when you see thier pics, either.
I haven't posted in the last week because I'm CRAZY getting ready for my mom to get here on Monday. But come visit! I'll be keeping up with you on here! If you haven't figured out who I am yet, then go see my "I See What You're Saying" post, and you'll know right away! :-)
That looks like a lot of fun. I used to get together (a long time ago) with another homeschool friend/family once a month, and I have lots of good memories of that.
