The girls started taking dance when they were both 3 years old. Scottlyn will be 10 next month and Shalyn just turn7. Dance is such a BIG part of their life . . . we are grateful for:

Dance for His Glory it is a ministry of First Baptist Church Woodstock.  They are committed to teaching children the fundamentals of dance and movement in a Christ centered environment. The ministry’s goal is to glorify God through the celebration of dance and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to children, parents, and relatives by word and deed.

I have Issues

Let me first say that I have some major issues!!! My husband keep's opening cabinet's or door's in our home only to find more food. In every corner of our home he would find a small stash.

 His answer was this:

Let me just say that the top shelf alone cost less then a case of 24 Propel water @ costco.

For the past two days we have had some incredible weather low 70's will lots of SUNSHINE. The girls were just itching to get out and play with the water hose. Here are just a few pictures of their adventures:

They thought dumping water down the driveway,

it was like making their own waterfall! They had their own personal size pool . .  

I mean galvanized buckets (it's a redneck thing).

Let's not forget the dogs who were more then happy to play too . . . today they gave them all baths outside . . .THANK YOU!!! It's one less thing for Daddy & Mommy to do this weekend.

 This week is the first use book sale that I will go to.  I try to buy most things used or see if I can get thought Barnes and Noble. So here is my list . . . it is just a guide and I am flexible with it. A BIG thing for us next year will be, we will not be doing Timothy Ministry's. I have taught there since I started home schooling 6 years ago. I feel that we need to pull back this coming year and spend more time one on one with each other. So everything come in house . . . I am excited and have a new bounce as I look at next year.  This is only my shopping list. This is just a frame and I am flexable to see what I fine . . . Easter Tomb

We did this last year and it was so much fun with the girls . . . thought I would share it again this year. . . .  Easter Tomb

Take a can of biscuits. Flatten out each biscuit out with your fingers. Tell your kids they are making a tomb. Take a large marshmallow and explain that this represents Jesus. Put the marshmallow on the biscuit and wrap the biscuit around the marshmallow. Make sure all edges are sealed (pinch until no seam). Put a pat of butter on top. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon to represent the spices that were put on Jesus. Bake as directed on package. You may have to guess at this. After cooked, the marshmallow melts and is gone. Explain how Jesus is not in the tomb, He is Risen!

My New Toy

Snap . . . I have wanted a new camera for so long now and Tom came home this afternoon with my early Mother's Day present . . . heehee. Now Tom would never go buy anything  like this brand new. He got it off Craiglist for a great deal. The guy who sold it to him just bought it back in June 08, he even bought an extended 4 year warranty that came with the camera. . . he paid $1,145.91 and my wonderful husband got it for $600.00 . . . .  sweet!! It also came with an extra battery. If any one knows of some great blog's out there to help me get to know my camera better. Please let me know.  Have a wonderful weekend.
